@11:55PDT PSN has been reported as partially down. The login to your game component which is most important for us here on FFXIV land cannot get onto our game if we are either not already on or get kicked. So far that appears to be the only service component of PSN that is actually down. The store and other services are reported as fine.

according to "DownDetector" it appears mostly to be afffecting the UK and parts of the UE, although there is some impact in NA as well, just not as harsh- could be based on the fact that it's evening in the EU, so more people are encountering issues...

Oh, I refreshed the map and in the space of a few minutes the NA activity grew, as did the EU, and now some reports from JPN. Looks like a widespread issue for PSN unfortunately.

I wouldn't say that's a fair judgment to pass on yourself - the situation wasn't exactly within your control, and those people should be aware of that. Regardless, my condolences for the unfortunate timing.
