Crafting for Lucis Items - Why Doesn't This Happen?

When crafting Camlet, and getting NQ ones, you get back Cashmere Fleece and Camel Hair.

When crafting Patent Leather, you only get back the Saurian Skin, not the Saurian Skin + Shroud Tea Leaves. Since, as far as I know, you can only get the leaves from gardening, why not give those back when turning in NQ patent leathers too?

You dont get the diluted vitriol back from camlets, each item has 1 it doesnt give back

But that can be crafted by alchemist, like ferberite can be mined... waiting X days for shroud tea seeds to grow seems like a bit much.

Shroud Tea Leaves are gathered from an unspoiled node in Central Shroud by botanist.
