    Which one?

So basically the whole of last month I spent getting my miner geared and ready for the expansion I've done that and now I can get a steady gil income, but I'm wondering is it better if I go for a crafting class instead? It would mean gearing up all over again plus getting every craft class to 50... Currently I can make 3 star NQ crafts on my Goldsmith but I feel I've come way too late to the craft game to make a difference. Why go crafting when I have a brainless gil maker gathering class? Sure it might be time consuming, but I can guarantee that I'll always be at a +profit...

It all depends on if the market is saturated. If you are already feeling that the profit gained isn't worth the trouble, then it definitely is better just to gather.

Depends on how fast you can get all classes up to level 50 and start turning profit.

I think 2 months is enough time to make your money back and then some. But you have to be aggressive with your gearing process, you can't skimp or wait around for better deals.. Just spend whatever's needed and expect to earn it back by jumping in the market that much quicker.

3-4 star gear doesn't really have that much money in it though, you should just focus on mass producing stackable items.
There's more money to be made in desynth, just have to be able to mass produce so you're not at the mercy of RNG.

I do have my Goldsmith desynth at 81.54 but I'm not too sure how to raise it further.

    Level Botany!

Really you shouldn't craft unless you're in it for the fun of being a DoH as much as you're in it for the gil.

Neri's desynth guide is here on this forum.

I would add that at lvl 80 PvP was my favorite option. 1 victory equals 1 earring accessory, which is essentially a free chance at BC3 & desynth XP.

Alternatives would be i70+ dungeon drop jewelry, which has the RNG of the loot system to decide whether or not you'll even get the drop. Rose Gold Clasp require 9 peacock ore per ingot so that is an investment.

    PvP jewelry is free tho
