Doing that makes you look guilty though, you allow yourself to become a captive/prisoner to prove your innocence.Even if you know the person in front of you did it how would it look to the rest of the world if not only did you "kill" nanamo but also Teledji a person connected to the syndicate. It would only make it easier for them to pin the blame on the hero because then they could say he killed him to silence him.
