If you're not taking agency with your character (which is a reversion of your previous posts and an outlier to the majority of the arguments against the passivisim of the character in this topic) then you are still failing to understand the motivations behind each character, including your own.

You're fine to critique the story with a broad brush but expect to have each argument systematically picked apart by those who loremonger and actually pick up on the rather obvious setups they were doing throughout the plot. Just because the game does not go out of its way to explain every single minute detail regarding a situation, does not mean it was not anticipated in the story.

It's been long established that the Main character assumes the best out of everyone but the most obvious threats. Failing of the main story character, but s/he seems to be overly trusting of others pretty constantly.

Let's see if that changes in Heavensward, as the tale is supposed to be darker.
