    So I am a threat without my weapon? I thought I wasn't.

    If you don't want to fight, having a weapon or not, being powerful enough to take these guards down or not, it make no difference.

    Surrendering was the best choice no matter the circumstances, us having a weapon, the number or guards or whatever.
    It doesn't chance the outcome in the end.

    So, then, what's your point?
    Well, the final outcome is that you gtfo of Ul'dah, which is exactly what I would've done. Except, you know, I would've been able to get the rest of the Scions along with me instead of having them risk their lives. My point is that the whole sequence looks dramatic but is dumb.

    Yes, all they know if that you were blessed by the Mothercrystal and have no idea what sort of unfathomable power you hold. Our powers getting stripped by Midgarsomr was only privy to Minfilia of whom told us to keep it a secret.
