So they could work together and fight but they doesnt. also "Lolorito to put 1billion 3 billion 500 Billion gil for the head of Merlwyb or Kan-E-Senna"; I doubt that could happen! if he had so much gil,he would buy ppl to kill Raubahn,Nanamo &co already and easy! and kill the murders to not have any connection left! The way they left the party so easy and fast shows that they had plan or something?! Kan-E-Senna would always try to help. And the people from Ishgard knew its trap and are 100% still there.
