I called you dumb because you didn't take the time to read anything I wrote. You have partially corrected this, although you still seem to be hung up on the completely fictitious notion of yours truly demanding single-class specs. You are somehow managing to overlook how marvelously interchangeable most specs are with other classes of the same role, under the present system, which is the system I prefer. Gladiator is certainly in an uncomfortable position under the present system, on this we certainly agree, what with it having to move points out of a tank stat and into a dps stat before it is viable in its new role. I was defending the concept of roles differentiating characters. Everybody else here got it, and I can't tell them what game they should want to play - you're the odd one out.

I understood what you were saying perfectly, I simply pointed out what it actually means for the game and the players playing it. Besides, single-class or single-role, it makes little difference. The Armoury system (as well as the FFXI class system) were designed specifically to let players pool all their resources into one character instead of many. The current Physical Level system is in direct conflict with it, which is why it has been heavily criticized since early beta.
