Increase of resist time on sleeps/stuns/binds?

It's not a necessity since we do ok with things as the way they are, but it is a huge annoyance for the resist on the CC abilities to only last for so long. Just how long does the 'fully resisted' status last for? I always roll my eyes whenever I have to leech or esuna like 40 times in one match. Sleep is probably the worst one =_=...

You know, once upon a time, resist cc melds on pvp gear actually helped, the infrastructure is there, it just needs to be turned on...

I was very heavy into SWTOR PVP a few years back and they had what was called a resolve bar. Any sort of CC action cast on a player would fill the bar, and once full he was unable to be CC'd for a short duration. I think if something like this was introduced to PVP it would be for the better. Even making our CC break do this after used, say 5-10s of not being able to be CC'd would be nice. I cannot even fathom the amount of times where its constant stun lock or bind/sleep. This sort of thing happens in the large 72 man frontlines, where you have a team full of blm's spam casting sleep and freeze on parties. Allowing our CC break to grant immunity from CC's for a short duration would do wonders.

Not sure if you Pug Pvp or not, but it helps if your teammates carry the resist/ status cure pots, they're very inexpensive to craft/purchase and I find they help out very much.

    Smelling Salts

    Stun Ward Potion

    Sleep Ward Potion

These do work but the problem i the recast time. When you facing 3 teams with 4 or more BLM (which is more or less every game) 1 min 30 sec recast is a ice age.

I didn't know about the Smelling Salts item, that would be useful for party members to use on a slept healer. As for the stun/sleep resist potions, I also found the duration + recast time left a lot to be desired.

When I go as Scholar my first priority after refilling low HP is casting leeches to remove Sleep from party members, followed by unbinding party members so they can escape a potential incoming LB. That's why I get frustrated when I solo queue as DPS and get healers who leave me slept for like 8-10 secs, or just don't bother to remove sleep at all. I've been on BLM in Slaughter mode trying to get the first drone and I activate Raging Strikes and get slept so the cooldown is in jeapordy of being wasted, and finally in party chat I'm like:

    Unsleep me.
    Unsleep me.
    Unsleep me.
    Unsleep me.

Until someone finally does or it wears off. And by then the drones half dead and I haven't gotten one offensive spell off and we don't get it, big surprise. I still remember the healer that left me standing there slept to get killed after we took a node down at where 'manors' used to be before 72 man secure was removed by SE. Almost rage quit on them.

Had a horrific match earlier where the Maelstrom kept synchronizing their sleeps on both our healers at the same time, out of range of the other GC so that they wouldn't see an easy target and break sleep for us, and would recast when we'd pop Purify or would just recast as soon as the duration wore off while they went to town on our DPS. Really wish the sleep resist would kick in immediately after a cast, instead of this diminishing returns stuff. Purify isn't much good if you just get CC'd again immediately after. Even being out of commission for 7 seconds as a healer can be devastating to your forces. Next time I'll try to LoS their casts or range them, but it was brutal since I wasn't prepared for it.

They can't really do that because that would just reopen the door for Main stat/Secondary stat melding.

I hate to suggest it. But purify works on other players and is instant. People may wish to pay a little more attention to their healers. It may be better to purify the sleep on them then to remove your debuff. Hell I swear half the dps I see don't even have it on their bar to use.

Yes it does, I wasn't going to mention that on the open forums lol but now it's out there- I always suggest to my teams they save their Purifys for their healers whenever possible vs on themselves, I've had some clutch saves where I used it on a healer who was unable to heal and dying fast, and it let them get back to healing almost instantly.
