I've cleared this, but I have a question about the first dragon slayer. When I used it the bolt appeared to hit the dragon, it went straight through the middle of it. The text however said something like 'a wasted bolt' so I'm guessing I missed. Is there a certain part off the dragon to aim for? Thank you ^^

For the first dragon killer i just use it when the circle is below is stomach.

Basically. It has a small animation+cast delay, so wait until you see the red circle getting close to below his stomach.

I waited until his front claws were just past the circle, did I wait too long?

I think you were too early. Use it when you see the circle like right below is body. So use it when the circle is underneath the main part of his body.
