Title for doing all the moogle letter quests

"Postman"

I knew that looked familiar so I checked my titles... there is an earlier one called "The Postman"

Is there some sort of cleverness behind this that I won't understand until I actually do the quests, or is it really just as unimaginative as it looks? >_>

Depends on how you want it to read (probably a bad translation). I should clarify that I have both titles in question and they are formatted like in the below example.

For example with my character name I can pick:

Postman Altrage A'uli

or

Altrage A'uli The Postman

One is a title the other is just occupational (that is where the bad translating is probably coming from as we (English speakers) call the title a Postmaster (one who runs a post office) and the occupation is formally known as a Mail Carrier (one who delivers mail))

From the way I read the patchnotes, I thought the title itself was "Postal".

I don't remember reading it as Postal, I always saw Postman; not to mention it wouldn't fit in with the quest to give you a title of that nature. Postman; as a title akin to something like Sir, Ma'dam, Mr., Mrs., Duke, etc--is more fitting based on the ending dialogue when you get your Postmoogle Cap and the title. HOWEVER, I feel that the translation is in error as it should be Postmaster (unless they are saving that one in particular for a later date/higher Carrier level)

I go postal all the time in duty finder, I was looking forward to actually giving myself the title right before an "accident".

The name of the achievement is Postal, not the title. With how punny this game is with its achievements and FATE names, I'm sure they know what it means.

Yeah, but this is how it read in patch notes:

The following achievements and titles have been added:
Title ------------------Requirements
Broken Bridges -------Defeat Vishap on the Steps of Faith.
My Left Arm ----------Complete the quest "Before the Dawn."
Postal------------------Complete the quest "The Little Postmoogle that Could."

The first column is labelled "title" rather than "achievement". Not the first time english patch notes have had strange wording, but still. I suppose a title of "my left arm" would also be horribly weird.
