I'm talking about Raid/ Alexander loot rng and with a weekly lockout how frustrating it will be...
Countless threads and many complaints Already exist. They've already made a statement about "revamping the loot system" in 3.0
And no, it's not an issue about guaranteed anything, you still have to run the content more than enough times, but it won't be the crap rng system it is now. 3 days of t7 farming for whm coat, 49 runs of wod for tank chest, there's a thread of over 60 runs of t9 and no spear dropping. The current loot system is too cruel. It's not a "great feeling of accomplishment"(as was once stated by a player on these forums), but relief that we don't have to waste more time on trying to farm something.
So, yes, loot issue has been addressed, although it might not be completely fixed
Personally I hope they leave the rng in place but modify it so that it only drops gear for jobs in your party. I find that the i130 poetics gear is a good compromise already and the upgrade items that drop from raids further that point. I don't want to have to farm multiple currencies myself, 2 is enough already.
Ahh ok was unsure how many topics had been made but i'm glad they will revamp the loot system hopefully something Where you don't run T9 60 times... That's pure evil and unnecessary i feel maybe something like shivas dust drops or the antique armor from snow cloak would do?
A change is a change. Requiring 10 tokens for a piece of gear would be no different than what we do now, in essence, you're still farming the content, it's not hard to keep track of another if it's based on a weekly cap of 1 per turn.Personally I hope they leave the rng in place but modify it so that it only drops gear for jobs in your party. A simple solution might be give everyone in coil like Raids one chest each that chest drops a piece of gear from that turn for your class there would still be rng and people might get get bent over by rng for months on end
I really hope they just open a window everytime you beat something and let you pick any 3 items you want, then you wouldn't have to play this really unfun game more than once to get gear to play even more unfun stuff!
