Yeah.. Just imagine fighting this really big dragon, and its squishy. I personally feel the Difficulty should be high or low based on the situation that our character is in.Its mainstory, theres no reason to learn it, you will do it once and you are done for it, no need to waste your awesome lifetime learning a meaningless fight.
Even tho i find this fight is faceroll just like every other mainstory stuff, people just dont know how or when to use stuff, but dont annoy casuals with stupid fights like this, this is not a fkn extreme mode, which actually get downed within 24 hrs aswell.
We are fighting a Fire-breathing dragon... Yeah I sure hope its hard.
My DF group beat this on the 3rd try. I didn't think it was that hard.
On the subject of hard content though, I think we need less not more. I like content where I can just DF up and go and have some hope of winning, not just be wipe-city for hours with people getting mad. I do think dungeon content is too easy though. I don't expect the game to cater to me personally but harder, more interesting dungeons and easier endgame raids would be my preference.
People complain about all the "experience only" groups well you need experienced people to beat the harder fights. It feels like the game would be more inclusive if that was not so much the case. On the other hand, games thrive off some degree of exclusivity; people grind so hard to feel special for a couple of months (having gear, mounts, titles, etc. that few others have). So it all depends on what your personal philosophy is.
I don't really like the casual/hardcore dichotomy but I guess the question has always been: should the game be more casual i.e. social or more hardcore i.e. achievement and gear focused?
I think SE is trying to find a middle ground the best they can.

I completed this on my 4th attempt. (2 DF groups.) It just needs coordination. It will become easier once people realize what mechanics mean.

It's not that hard just need people doing their jobs.
Tried it in DF, wiped first try, 2nd try cleared it with zero deaths.
Qued solo.
So no, not too hard.
I feel it is the perfect level of difficulty, and I hope to see more story-related content at this level.



Won the fight at the 2nd attempt with my first party... I'm not even kidding. It had some challenge but nothing too hard. Just need to figure out what everyone should be doing.
