2400 average ping, spikes at 3400

Hi, i thought i was just bad for not being able to dodge aoes, but now i realise my ping is not helping one bit. I ran a pathping to my Datacenter Zalera:

(i messed up saving the pathping, i did a quicker tracert)

This is at my parent's home. The pathping looks fine, but sitting outside the north shroud gate, doing nothing, i get 800, spikes at 1000. I figured something internal is not performing adequatly. I'll test again when i get home but i had 2000ish inbound pings there too.

Are you using resource monitor or something to track the pings, or are you looking at the game's S/R numbers in the corner of the screen? If it is those S/R numbers... that is the number bytes sent/received and not your ping.

Otherwise, you have some odd jitter coming through Bell Canada. Shouldn't be game breaking, but it might be enough to feel a slight stutter periodically. The timing out at the end is odd though. You shouldn't be dropping out like that. Seen that IP listed for several world services in the past...so it should be a vaild IP, but it's behaving more like it is offline on my end as well.

I was using the in game numbers. Most games have a ping feature, i had no idea.

I guess i just suck... No easy fix for that
