I haven't had many bad experiences but when I did, I reported them regardless if it was aimed towards me.

It takes a pretty hefty leap in logic to expect people to know an instance as soon as it comes out. Such people would have to have no perspective on life with priorities like that. Could you imagine taking a game that seriously?

I used to get upset at people like this but now I picture 600 pound man blobs sitting in a dusty dirty basement playing on their windows XP machine half naked and unshowered in weeks shouting at their monitor in barely coherent whiny voices, "COME ON!!! OH MY GOD WTF???? WOW OMG OMG".

its funny cause its probably true lol im tonka tough i can handle abuse hurled at me i know how to deal with trolls :P just dont think players deserve to be treated that way at any time let alone a dungeon thats only a few hours old = =

I think you missed the point, but you are certainly entitled to your interpretation. Far be it from me to point that out. For the record I never said it and others did not say it the way you are portraying it. I said its amusing and so did others. Really your lack of interpretation surprises me. All though I will give you credit as you as well admit its a fictitious image. However this does not negate the said issue that has been brought up in this forum. So kindly at least have to common decency to address what was originally posted. This will be my last post as I am not at odds with your disposition.

I get the point, just still don't see how this does anything except cause more of a rift between players while making you feel self-gratified in your own ethical superiority.

Side note, the whole "this will be my last post" thing, while it may have only the purest of intent, comes off to the person you're addressing it to as very condescending and patronizing. There are better ways to refocus the topic than to just brush someone you disagree with aside as irrelevant.

Also please don't justify people who act like this. If they are going to go out of their way to be rude and treat other peoples like crap, why should anyone care how people retaliate against them?

I just take issue with the eye for an eye mentality of it all. If a player is rude, that doesn't justify being rude back to them. Then you just have 2 rude people instead of 1. I'm in no way trying to justify the first person being rude either, just pointing out that being rude back doesn't make you the good guy.
It's wrong to kick people in the shins. But if someone comes over and kicks you in the shins, that doesn't mean you should kick them in the shins in retaliation. I don't see why people interpret this as me saying it's okay for the first person to kick you in the shins.

Sorry, this is where I am completely in disagreement. I believe that people who are rude need to be shown that being rude will get you slapped and after enough slaps they will start to catch on that it isn't helping them at all. Typically ignoring rude people entitles and empowers them more and in duty finder situations I've seen rude people completely control the party because no one was saying anything back to the person. I've seen innocent people kicked from parties cuz people were 'following' the rude person because no one bothered to challenge this guy's behavior.

Someone has to stand up to them and show them that they can't just bully everyone into submission and if that makes me 'rude' too then so be it because at least I'm trying to deal with these people.

Umm I don't even say anything to these people lol. I just said that's how I picture them so instead of them irritating me, it amuses me and I can laugh at how they are behaving rather than getting frustrated.
