Patch 2.55 new card NPC's and changes to rules & card sets.

Here are the changes they announced:

Triple Triad has been adjusted as follows:
- New NPC opponents for Triple Triad have been added.
* No icon for Triple Triad will display over these NPCs' heads. Furthermore, challenging them will not count towards the achievements "Triple Team I" and "Triple Team II."

- The deck used by certain NPCs has been adjusted.
- The rules in effect when challenging certain NPCs have been adjusted.

Triple Triad tournaments have been adjusted as follows:
- The number of matches in Triple Triad Tournaments has been adjusted.
- The number of points received for winning a match has been adjusted.
- Players will receive bonus MGP based on the number of points they have earned when a tournament ends.
- Players will be rewarded a Platinum Triad Card depending on the number of points they have earned when a tournament ends.

Is random rule against npc's now changed so that the they have a bigger card pool now? New card npc's locations and which cards they actually can drop? They didn't really specify it that much what was actually changed with the npc's and which npc's in general.

I can't play for the whole of today so I am merely curious what the patch actually changed with which npc's.

Random is still pretty garbage against Landenel. Tournies are now 35 matches

When you walk into the Rising Sands it displays the message "Triple Triad matches allowed in this area" so I assume an NPC in there can be dueled, but I talked to all of the npcs and none of them had a TT option, so maybe they are on a certain schedule.

you can play againist tataru once you beat a certain part of the mainquest. she uses random rule tough a win nets 165 mgp which is highest to date. can win tataru card from her which before could only be gotten from silver triad booster dont know if there is more than this card to be won. she also plays LIGHTING card. which is a tournament only card so far.

Wow. I wonder if she actually has a 0.0001% chance to drop the lightning card. Could be? It took near 500 wins to get Gaius too. 165 mgp is a lot, but random rule kinda takes the chance of obtaining mgp faster than from the indolent imperial. Did they change him at all btw?

Swift got neutered pretty bad. Still chaos but his deck is super tame now.

Until we know how many points it requires to get a platinum pack or what is even in them we can't say for sure. Still at onset the tourney still looks to be a cheaters paradise. Adding more games might help a little, requires more people to rig it I guess.
