Sweat of Brow

Some time ago, I recall a forum post asserting that adding + lightning gear increased the activation rate of Sweat of Brow. Is there any truth to this? I added a couple lightning earrings but I didn't see any obvious increase?

I think this is probably rumorous. Just like moon cycle and dancing naked on the 3rd umbral moon ontop a dodo.

Tried before with 20 lightning vs. 174....absolutely no difference.

Ya, thanks guys. I agree with you both. Don't need to tie up 2 valuable inventory slots with earrings for 'alledged benefit'.

i recall saying something like that on a thread, i was speculating that, since Sweat of brow icon's BG color is purple the ability's element is lightning( and its stat could be dex; Dex element is lightning). it was all speculation, since in FFXI some WS had a blue icon meaning they were water based, Stacking Mind would increase the benefits of such WS.

but i was speculating this.

and moon cycle and element of the hour do affect the outcome on crafting, havent tried naked tho...
