Wasn't there something told about retainers in duties in Heavensward?
The patchnotes tell in preparation for the expansion. So maybe....it has something to do with that?

That would be a new feature. Not an algorithm change. Probably just the matching algorithm was optimized. These things happen as a game ages.
Well something needed done. Lets prepare for the worst and hope for the best!!

They definitely need to change the way they word their patch notes and such....
wow looking through this thread tanks a spoiled brats
Oh good, I'm glad someone (a bunch of someones) was curious about this line too.
This is what I was thinking.
I hope we get a clarification.
I'm sure whatever the change was, it won't stop people from being lazy leeches who think they can queue on Bard and sit back and not play any songs and participate with the minimum amount of effort.
It also won't stop people from bringing Scholar into easy raids such as WoD so they can get practice in a Level 50 environment with more than 4 players without too much pressure to play perfectly and where it's okay to make mistakes.
The only thing surprising about your screenshot is that your UI is more cluttered than mine.
Scholars are op. It's why you see raids of 6 scholars and no white mages. No one mains a white mage.
Just got out of WoD. 3 DRGs in our party. Another party had 3 BLM. The last party had 3 BRD. So...no...that obviously wasn't it.Most likely we wont see silly party compositions in raids where we have 4 brds in party A and 4 blms in party B and 2 sch's in party C when both party A and B have all whm healers. An algorithm to make looting less competitive for dps and favor diversity for greater stat boosts across the board.
