Well, according to your character profile, you should start by leveling your fisher and get all your Lucis before saying that you need a reason to keep playing.
If you play 21 hours a day, like you said, it shouldn't take too long... but that's still something to do.
Seeing that Yoshida said that the current high ilevel gears don't get obsolate before level 60 and no new token come out before Heavensward (before a token get unlocked, the older one vanish and a new one come ingame), it is not silly and was expected.

Trying to find the sense of not making Poetic's uncapped. The only I cna think of is they didn't want people to rush into oblivion with one the best gears in the game.
So they turn to FCOB which a handful of people can even get to, unlock that so they can get bis....Soo...We're all still stuck as we were before. No
change in the treadmill expect now we can level to 120 on our clothes, you still have accessories and all that to think about.
That sucks. Should of unlocked Poetics so people can actually TRY to do FCOB, it'll take some time but there will be more people for the pickings.
Face the fact people will get bored and leave SE. No reason to have a lock anymore.
The gap between now and the expansion is too much. Uncapping would of gotten a lot of people
ready for the expansion and better chances in coil...Very disappointing. Just hope
they unlock it before 3.0 comes...

If they uncap poetics, there will be people who farm them and gear up alt classes in a week or two, get bored and quit the game till expansion cancelling their sub.
If they keep the lock on, those people will have to keep their sub active to get poetics every week, so even though they will be bored senseless after they cap, they will still have an active sub.
Financially, it makes perfect sense.
If you've been capping every week, you've already obtained enough Poetics to fully gear one job in i120 (including the tokens for the weapon), with several i130 pieces if you've also been doing the CT chain, while still having a few thousand Poetics left over, so you're not getting "better chances in coil" if it's uncapped.
If you don't normally cap every week, then it (likely) doesn't matter whether the cap is there, because you're not reaching it anyway.
There might be a few exceptions for people who play very little some weeks and play a lot other weeks, but that's probably a small population, and those people likely don't have a schedule that easily accommodates a static for FCoB anyway.
Everyone complaining about not removing the Poe cap should reread this post and then read it again until it finally sinks in. It's absolute truth from top to bottom.

Overall, pretty unimpressed with the patch. I have a feeling the next 3 months is going to be rather dull.
