You know people can post their pictures for fun and not for narcissism? To have conversations? To join in on a topic they like and have fun with everyone else?

Why is what you say the only reason? Just because you think so?

You know that saying about how true beauty isn't in the face but in the soul/mind? Yeah, well..blatantly screaming about your self-obsession instantly makes you ugly in my eyes, no matter how beautiful I might have initially found your character.

There is a difference between being confident about your looks and a silent scream of "Appreciate how pretty I am!!" while plastering the same picture all over the internet.

You need to take a step back and think about what you are saying....this is taking this WAY too seriously. It's just video game avatars? They don't exist. They are pixels in a computer. They are just used to differentiate between us in a virtual world and people do design them for fun you know and not just narcissism...which for some reason you think is the only thing that exists?

The OP never said you can't post whatever character you want including your own so why are you trying to hijack it and put down everyone who posted their own characters? If it didn't say not to then people won't think it's wrong to just post whatever characters they want? Logic right?

Not everyone is what you try to label them as. You are just projecting what you personally think onto everyone else. Instead of being rude to people who happen to post their own characters just because they felt like joining the topic how about you go make a new thread and specifically say in the OP not to post your own characters? Go make the thread that you want to have, it is in your power to do so instead of railing on people in this one where the OP did not list these rules that you are personally trying to tack on.

I mean people just post screenshots of their character innocently in a thread asking for character screenshots from a game they play and suddenly they are narcissists, obsessive, and ugly. You don't see a problem with what you've posted here?

In my eyes you just don't seem to understand that not everyone is what you say they are. If you get that upset at people just posting their characters in threads that ask people to post screenshots of characters then don't go into said threads and/or start blacklisting people you don't want to see then if it bothers you THAT much to start being rude over it.
