Um, if you read the first post it quite clearly tells you.

As for the story. I just finished it about an hour ago. Some parts left me disappointed.

    1. I knew all along that someone was likely to be poisoned ever since the 2.5 trailer, my initial guess was that maybe it was going to be Rabauhn. However, once I saw the goblet use in the patch name sitting on Nanamo's table I knew what was going to happen. Throw in the fact that she tells you her plans to abjucate the throne right before she takes a drink. I mean, come on.. that was so obvious.

    2. Ilberd's a douche. Even though he tells Rabauhn he killed Nanamo, we know he in fact did not. He just says that to piss off Rabauhn (which was quite successful). The real assassin would be the handmaiden who knowingly filled her cup with poisoned wine and ultimately works for Lolorito. That said, I did highly enjoy Rabauhn's rampage.

    3. While I was glad to see Aledji get his just rewards served to him by Rabauhn, it's a little bothersome to know that even he was ultimately just a puppet for Lolorito.

    4. While Lolorito comments that everything went as planned he still seemed rather unhappy about something.

    5. As for the Scions, it's highly unlikely any of them actually were killed. That said, I want to know what in the seven hells Minfillia thought she was going to do? She has never been shown to have any power or abilities aside from The Echo, she's merely a spokesperson and a figurehead (not to mention, easy on the eyes). So what made her feel the need to stay behind to protect me, the godsdamned Warrior of Light? Even with her being able to suddenly hear Hydelean, which is another question I imagine we should have answered somewhere in Heavensward, what good is that going to do her?

    6. Lets not be quick to cast Urianger to the firepits and call him a traitor. He was summoned for a talk with the Ascian Emissary, aka. The White Ascian. The Emissary has never been violent or agressive like his companions in black. Urianger always seeks knowledge and if the White Ascian can deliver that then ultimately it should be only a good thing for us Scions. Urianger was still referred to as Archon, which he has been. As far as I see it, he has not left our side just because he went to talk with the Emissary.

    7. What was up with those looks from Tataru hmm? At first I thought there might be something to it, but given her reaction while she spoke with Alphinaud at the end it makes me wonder if perhaps maybe those previous looks were nothing more than simple affection/longing as she looked back at us. she does seem very innocent, but we'll see. So far there's been a high concentration of bad lalafell in the main story.

All in all, I enjoyed it, but felt as though it was not as epic an ending as I was expecting.

The spoiler tags are redundant. I think that applies to spoilers in other threads.
My favorite was put into limbo back in 2.5, and the musical cues told me I was supposed to be happy about never seeing him again. Because his blood took over and told him that thermonukes can also be used to warm orphanages, or something. Well, screw that!

    /nod

    Wait, what?

Oh, but if Minfillia tries to pull a stunt like that, then I get all protective? Not that I wanted her to go, but I do wish they wouldn't leave my character a cipher only to try and dictate my emotional state in moments like that. A little consistency wouldn't hurt, either.

Actually, it struck me how similar the CT ending was to this latest story, but I'm still not sure if that actually means anything. Guess I could always just ask Yoshi-P directly...

The handmaiden's reporting shows obvious involvement, but I think things didn't all turn out the way he wanted. Although he ends up being a benefactor of the situation, maybe he wanted something more than just Ul'dah.

It feels like this whole plot is a mix of multiple conspiracies intertwined, each independent to each other yet all acting on the same groups of people, finally culminating in much more severe escalation than each one expected.

It seems to me like a bit of a cop-out that practically all of this gets hand-waved by the NPCs as being unbelievable to the general public, but then I went back and talked to all the guilds I'd maxed out. Each and every one of the guildmasters and GC officers (hadn't talked to any I didn't have 50's or full rank from) actually says to your face that the charges are unbelievable and that you have their full support, even down to Miounne, Baderon and Momodi.

Gotta admit, that was actually pretty heartening, but it makes me wonder why it's really necessary to seek asylum in Ishgard if every single combat, gathering and crafting guild is willing to protect me.

Think of the guilds as similar to unions. If the government decides to exile or arrest you for any reason, the work unions can't do much to really stop them.

Even in other cities? I must investigate, I only checked those in Ul'dah. (The THM / BLM trainers didn't seem to know anything.)

SE... You guys just gave me a finale that left a big scar on my heart. I never though I'll ever see all the characters I cared about, get screwed over hard. The fact that SE got me to feel sorry for Alph, after hating him since the start, you guys earned my rounds of applause. The emotions and feels is real.

Grrr, I the ending, the action, the major twists. *plays rains of castamere*
I'm glad that bastard Nanamo got cutdown by Rabauhn, second, I KNEW they wouldn't have the guts to change ul'dah, it would take too much time to do so and so much storytelling on forth so to make it from happening, they did a game of thrones kill off. Third, really, WE the warrior of light fought off primal's, ultima weapon, a FREAKING BIG DRAGON AND SO ON, and yet everyone babied us acting like we can't even handle a few guards. fighting guards would be a breeze compare to what we handled through all this storyline. The ending was a let down to be honest, SE pulled a game of thrones outta their pocket to leave a cliffhanger on us but I GUESS we *have* a reason to go north into ishgard. NOW my character will give up being a paladin and become a dark knight cause the world is more f'ed up then she could see. GOOD BYE PALADIN/WARRIOR, HELLO DARK KNIGHT, WIELDER OF DARKNESS.
