Memory Leak/Preformance Issue #2

Has there been any updates to this from AMD (Catalyst Control Center) or from SE themselves? My girlfriend has had this problem recently (crashes in ST, LoA and any high traffic area such as Mor Dhona) and I did some minor research and Google-Fu to come to this now old solution of turning on LOD Streaming.

So, has there been any update to this?

Just an addendum: Playing with my girlfriend's in-game settings, the problem is far less prevalent playing on Fullscreen Settings vs playing on both of the Windowed settings.
