This is why my character's eyes are yellow (fairly common in cats) and green (also common in cats, and contains the colorations of yellow in there as well)
I mean, if you're gonna do heterochromia, from the way it works in real life most of the time, one eye should be a primary color (blue in the real world, yellow in this game for miqo'te, red if you're feeling edgy) and the other should be a...combo color? my color theory terminology isn't on the up-and-up.
so it'd be like: Red and purple, red and orange, yellow and green, blue and purple, blue and green. Otherwise the look can be a little too jarring.
Yes I'd aware people with brown eyes at a certain shade can look red btw, but it's not the same red i'm inferring here lol.
Also in real life, because of the way the genes for it work, green can often be the other color in a heterochromatic ocular arrangement. A lot of people (including myself IRL, actually) with green eyes actually have some form of heterochromia. In my case it's central heterochromia, where the center is a different color from the outside. Hell I once saw a lady with brown and blue. And the coloration was split down the middle horizontally on one eye.
