Yes I'd aware people with brown eyes at a certain shade can look red btw, but it's not the same red i'm inferring here lol.
Except the blue color in cat (and human) eyes is not from pigmentation, but from lack of it.

Many odd eyed cats have one blue eye and one yellow eye. The blue eye has the "white masking" gene, as it's called, and the yellow eye doesn't.

For Mi'Quote with odd colored eyes, one should always be blue or silver, and the skin or at least the hair hair should be white or pale, for the effect to follow feline genetics.
