I tried my best, but I think he looks more like he got attacked by a gang wielding sidewalk chalk and sharpies than he does "ugly":
Yeah, yeah, beauty is in the eye of the ahriman, but just for fun, can any of you guys and gals make an uglier character? Post them here!![]()

Simply make a character with differently coloured eyes. That's ugly enough as it is to me.
(note: no offense to people affected with Heterochromia in real life. RL heterochromia often shows eyes with different shades of the same color, like dark brown/light brown, grey and blue, etc. I'm talking about people who make characters with eyes of completely opposite spectrum colors like black/white, yellow/purple, etc. That's always a punch in the face when I see one cross my screen...)
Okay, it really can't get any worse than this...
...I hope.

It is also not uncommon for their eyes to be disparately colored from birth, a trait considered auspicious amongst their kind.

That's not necessarily true, a lot of people with heterochromia in real life have one brown eye and one blue eye. I've seen that combination and blue/green more than other ones, really.
Anyway here's my contribution

This is why my character's eyes are yellow (fairly common in cats) and green (also common in cats, and contains the colorations of yellow in there as well)
I mean, if you're gonna do heterochromia, from the way it works in real life most of the time, one eye should be a primary color (blue in the real world, yellow in this game for miqo'te, red if you're feeling edgy) and the other should be a...combo color? my color theory terminology isn't on the up-and-up.
so it'd be like: Red and purple, red and orange, yellow and green, blue and purple, blue and green. Otherwise the look can be a little too jarring.
Yes I'd aware people with brown eyes at a certain shade can look red btw, but it's not the same red i'm inferring here lol.
Also in real life, because of the way the genes for it work, green can often be the other color in a heterochromatic ocular arrangement. A lot of people (including myself IRL, actually) with green eyes actually have some form of heterochromia. In my case it's central heterochromia, where the center is a different color from the outside. Hell I once saw a lady with brown and blue. And the coloration was split down the middle horizontally on one eye.

Except the blue color in cat (and human) eyes is not from pigmentation, but from lack of it.my color theory terminology isn't on the up-and-up.

Many odd eyed cats have one blue eye and one yellow eye. The blue eye has the "white masking" gene, as it's called, and the yellow eye doesn't.
For Mi'Quote with odd colored eyes, one should always be blue or silver, and the skin or at least the hair hair should be white or pale, for the effect to follow feline genetics.

In real life my eyes are two different colors: left eye is brown and the right eye is green.
