Compete for skill and make fights challenging enough so skill actually matters.

Chill out, it's not worth getting that annoyed over.

A lot of people don't like the WoW/Rift style of endgame because it removes the need to visit areas of the world outside of instances AND because it's been done to death, and I think that's a totally justified arguement. Having open world content doesn't necessarily equate to competition with others, have you seen *anything* about guild wars 2 at all? That game has a huge amount of overworld content coming and no competition whatsoever.

But no, you're right, just get pissed off and insult people because that's the better approach.

You could very well have a public dungeon where the "boss" is poped with an item you find and this boss is "instanced" so that when you pop it only the party members can attack it. That's instanced content as well as dungeons.

Can this thread stop now? Heavily instanced =/= only dungeons/raids ala WoW. It just means content that only you and your party will be able to see/attack (like it is right now with behest/leves) regardless if it's in the open world or not.
You have no grounding to back up the fact that 'heavily instanced' doesn't mean specifically dungeons and raids, and considering that's the vast majority of what we're getting content-wise in 1.19, 1.20 and 1.21 I think it's justified to say otherwise.

I don't think the debate has to stop, it's very worthwhile for the dev team to see all opinions on the matter, so could people please stop talking as if their side is superior and trying to shut everyone else down?
