Character Creator - Black facial features and hairstyles

The absence of black facial features and hairstyles for character creation is disheartening. Out of the many hairstyles and facial features available there is not a single one that exists that allows one to create a character that resembles a black male or female, not a single one.

Is it a crime to have characters with a more pudgy nose, fuller lips and kinky hair? Is it so much to ask to have kinky dreadlocks (long and short), variations of cornrows and hair twists? Apparently it is a lot to ask, many rpgs/mmorpgs that have a character creation system have limited to no ability to create a black character.

My suggestion is simple, add black facial features and hairstyles. Not just a 1970 disco era afro, no black really wears that style these days. But actual modern black hairstyles. There are plenty, that can look great in game if the devs actually implement them.

While I cannot say much about the hair, since I guess it's meant to be more fantasy styles. But I have to say I've noticed some festures that should allow you to create a black character. Some of the lips and noses to me seem really big; though in real life my nose is average to small, and my lips are almost non-existent, so anything might look "big" by comparison. And I will say I noticed these traits on all races but lalafells, given their nature. So while hairstyles might not be in great supply, I'd say facial features are alright; though adfing more couldn't hurt.

I don't consider the current hair styles fantasy, anyone with naturally straight hair could style their hair like ones in game. Now those styles being socially acceptable is another story. I don't have a problem with the current hairstyles in game, just the current lack of black hair or kinky hair texture styles. Why is it that kinky hair can't be fantasy as well, is it because there is no past association to black people in fantasy settings? It doesn't make sense to me. With respect to the black facial features, there are absolutely none in game. Not any noses, not any lips, nothing.

It doesn't sound insensitive at all. Black facial features consists of a wider,more pudgy nose. The nose bridge is often much wider and the lips much fuller.

We should never settle, but continually strive for more, it can only improve the enjoyment of the game for more people.
