    Partying spots!

Tired of playing solo and the LS i had joined dropped to like 5 members who are never online. So where's the best spots to find a party? Do i absolutely need to find a LS for some group content or can i just go to a grinding spot and get an invite from people over there a la FFXI? (Yes i never played in a PT before..kept it solo..)

P.S. I'm a R22 Glad and im on Figaro if anyone of you got a good LS i can join.

You don't need a LS to do group content, R45 raid might be tough to find w/o one though.

I'm not sure how it is on your server, but on Lindblum there are always people shouting in Uldah for skill point parties / leve parties.

I just look for someone posting for my level or you can start you own group or just shout that you're looking.

(Skill Point) (Party) (Can I have it?) < RXX (<CLASS>)

    - OR -

(Leve Link) (Do you need it?) R40 (Camp Broken Water) / (Halatali) (/tell) - (Invite me please)

Also, check the Worlds forums for your server and find a linkshell! I play with a great group of people, though we don't party together all the time due to different levels and schedules it's great to have people to chat with and "turf" to hang out at.

And you don't NEED an ls to do group content but it certainly makes it easier.

I'm on Figaro which is supposed to have a high population yet i never seen anyone shout or even try to talk to me for these past 9 months... it almost feels like all the pple walking around are NPCs.

that's why i always wanted SE to implement chat channels, like regional chats like WOW and many other MMOs do. Saddly i dont think this will ever happen and it is IMO restricting the social aspect of the game.

There is no real reason to just walk up to a random person and talk, there are only two instanced raids and not too many NM's so it's not like WoW where you can "hey cool XXX where'd you get it". Also the whole chat system is kind of clunky. Most people have 2-7 Linkshell's and its a pain to switch back from one to the next and respond to tell's, party chat, and say.

Some advice: Just because no other people are posting for SP parties and stuff doesn't mean that you can't. There are probably tons of people who are just like you wanting to join a group but "don't see anyone posting". Start the revolution, start making parties yourself. The forums have tons of info on where to go for SP parties and with what number of people.

And you're right, I doubt SE will implement a regional chat.

    EDIT:
Also, you might get invited to a group that has people in it. Say a linkshell is doing leve's but only 6 people are in there group and you're posting that you want to do leve's as well. They may just invite you to try to fill the party, but they might not be /shout'ing that they are looking.
