Yes. Bots. As in someone using a program to help them level up their character instead of putting in their own time. I ran into one the other day that was actually AFK had the chair symbol up and everything. I tried to talk to them. I tried to trade with them to see if they would respond in any way form or fashion. This Bot was still trying to attack the surrounding monsters to attack them as I saw them target a crab when I tried to trade with them.

SE... this is not fair to people that have worked so hard to grind their butts off to get from 1-50 on so many different classes and jobs. And yes I did try to report the person but I was unable to since it appeared the support desk was down at that time. When I went back the next day (it was near the unspoiled node in thanalan for miner) the person is gone.

Also... getting really tired of gil sellers too.... makes it really hard to recruit ppl to your fc -.-

I've seen people in FCs using botting programs. Free trial doesn't let you do anything that allows you to RMT. Don't blame free trial.

RMT bots can't do their job when not subscribed. Trials can't trade, spam, use MB or join FCs. They can gather themselves full of shards but they can't trade them or store on FC chest, so using them for money making doesn't work either.

it opens no gates. free trail accounts cant go past lvl 20, cant shout,tell,say,trade,use the market board,use pf, and cant have more the 20k gil on them.

Actually, this game requires a lot of grinding... now I'm not advocating usage of bots here, but for some people who have a job it would take ages. Teens come home from high school and hit up their PC right away, adults have more responsibilities. What is actually the downside to this, other than that they can level up to join in on the epic endgame content this game has to offer? As I said, I'm not supporting botting, but I do understand why some would choose to do it, just want to discuss this issue.
