Now we can dye af, FF13 (no body asked for it) and also the darklight gearOne odd reason i could think of tht SE would do this cuz they wanted it to be iconic , the black, white, blue, brown, red look that says hey guysssss i just started playing! It also works for good crossover iconic gear in other games like lightning returns mi'qote starter gear.
Ppl who played ffxivarr will instantly be like hey i know dat look! Is what i assume SE is trying to achieve. Also they seem to like to preserve weird systems.
