I don't think the dev's idea is to make people play longer per ce---it's to encourage people to run the duty many times so that others can find a group and play it as well.Like weekly lockouts, it serves only to artificially increase the amount of time it takes to gear up so that people will play longer (...)
Urth's Fount, Odin, the bane of my existence. Since my first days at launch after seeing you could have Odin's gear I dreamed of obtaining it, now that I can have it as a glamour I'm over the moon but not long after many attempts at the trial I am left disappointed.
I'll never understand how people jump to defend 1% drop rates on anything in this game, even 5% is really incredibly bad. Tell me again how its fair someone gets a Terra card off of the Dragon's neck first try when I've done that battle 200+ times now and still haven't gotten a card. 500+ wins on the indolent imperial and no Gaius card. The pony drop rates still barely make them worth farming because I've done Garuda 25+ times and have seen the Garuda mount once, and of course rolled an abysmally low number. Luck hasn't a thing to do with skill, its just the endless club you feel when you are done with the main content in this game and go to do anything "fun" or farm related. I'm stuck now in TT. I can't make it to be able to have a 3* deck because my only option to get to the rest of the higher tiered npc's are weeks more of farming battles for abysmally low TT card drop rates night in and night out.
If we have to have RNG in this game, for the sake of the 12, PLEASE make it smart. 100+ runs of something, make the drop rate increase 1 or 2%. I don't care, something. Its frustrating when the game works where you have to spend 5 hours a day, all week to get something someone else can get in one hour. Make an even system for everyone, not just the special RNG snowflakes, that way if luck continually screws someone over there's hope that all that time invested isn't a waste and you don't have to rely on the sun, moon, and stars aligning to get what you want out of this game.
