Confirmation Prompt for "Sort" command, please!

I've had this happen a couple of times and it did piss me off. I don't like the way the game only sorts one way which is why I customize.

The best solution is just to have a configuration setting for what 'type' of sorting you like. Default, Alpha, or Prompt for example.

I would love a confirmation prompt for sort if there were some ways to customize it. I use it for my retainer inventories, but for my own inventory, I prefer to be organized. Potions and food at the back, free slots in the front for quick access to discard/sell junk or newly crafted gear, and other stuff like that. The sort button screws up pretty much my whole inventory and then I have to put everything back to their original places. Personally, clicking on prompts isn't nearly as annoying as having a personal customized inventory messed up by one small flick of the wrist.

I agree that an ui option for removing/disabling sort would be the best solution. It wouldnt effect anyone that frequently sorts, and would remove the risk of incidental sorting for those that wish to avoid it.

No, that was off topic, hence why I agreed, for such a feature that is seldom used, a confirmation wouldn't really be a bad idea. I was just weighing in my two cents from having to confirm every little action as that's really been bugging me a great deal lately (been moving items between my alts and rearranging them using the fc chest.. it wears on you.. )

Can very much relate to that sentiment. Overall I find all the confirmation requests to be one of the most annoying things in the game. (the other one being the server side delay on ui interaction)

Altho for me the delay weighs more I guess. Hopefully once ps3 support is made obsolete they can look into upgrading their servers and removing that server delay.
