Adventuring beyond Thanalan

Hey kids, did you know it's actually safe to venture outside of Thanalan? There's this magical forest called the Black Shroud with an amazing city in the middle called Gridania. It's right outside of northern Thanalan. OH, and did you know that there is the island called La Noscea with pirates, and ships, and guns OH MY. All you have to do is travel west of Ul'dah and ride a ferry directly to Limsa Lominsa. What? I know this is crazy talk right?

Please people, expand your horizons so we can enjoy the other city-states together. I'm sick of Ul'dah and I'm sure a lot of others are too. MOVE IT ON OUT. Please and thanks

I wouldn't be suprised if alot of the people asking for map changes and overhauls have hardly set foot outside of the bounds of their lev runs let alone even explored Thanalan at all.

I fervently ask for map changes and I have been pretty much everywhere.

On topic, I am mostly based in Gridania myself, I hate that I am forced to go to Ul'dah at all for story mission. I wish more people would get out of Ul'dah/thanalan.

well they're making people go there to do leves at least and a few quest with the change they did with class marks, people will start to move to those places after a while until ishgard comes.

I love the area's outside of Thanalon especially the black shroud. My sis and I love to explore so we go looking for area's of interest in all the area's (nald and thal's shrines though those are in thanalon. The amber rocks in the black shroud) Probably to much since we're not even lvl 30 yet. ^ ^ Mhor dona was fun and we got lots of good pics. don't like the limsa area as much... but still explored that too . The world is beautiful, and the enemies in the area's can be cool.... no zombie's yet, but if there were they would be fun to kill... or be killed by .... ^ ^

There are 86 Aetheryte camps and gates in Eorzea, and apparently I have only reach 38 of them so far.

I definitely need to explore more! ^^

Some of them can be really hard to get to, though.
Trying to reach Agelyss Wise in eastern La Noscea a while back, we got chased by a Drake and then stomped on by a Goobbue... but we actually had quite a bit of fun with the attempt.

Getting to the gates can be quite an adventure in itself!
