Will our higher level gear over 50 be equippable at level 50 or since the new cap is 60 will it be 60?
Eg. My poetics gear says I need to. E level 50 to wear now will it say 60 when heavensward is introduced?

- RMT/bots has been an issue for quite a while and seem to be increasing tremendously. Will Heavensward implement any new systems to combat this problem?
- Can we get a sneak peek at a couple new job abilities? Even a generic description would be nice.
- Will lvl50 dungeons/raids/trials give EXP?
- Are there any updates on the benchmark software release?
- When can we expect preliminary patchnotes?
What, if any, updates can we expect between now and the expansion?
I know there isn't any more story incoming but will we see restrictions and requirement eased up at all in the next couple of months? For instance, less hand in tokens needed for newer items from Talan (like happened with the earlier items) or the removal/loosening of the the tome cap?
What sort of general quality of life issues may be improved upon?
It's been a while since we got a sizeable purely quality of life update. This dry spell before the expansion might be the perfect time, while also introducing some system ground work for said expansion in steps rather than all at once in a glitch riddled early launch day.
Will we be able to have more slots on our blacklist to block RMT tells? Mine is full and it is a pain to delete old blacklisted users one at a time to clear up more room.
Hello Yoshi-P, this is a long question so it has been broken into two.
This question may be difficult to get across, but here it is:
Currently, it is hard for new and veteran groups to find new members who are willing to try the raiding aspect of ffxiv, and perhaps it is because they may be scared away when they hear how unforgiving raid content is.
While not everybody will enjoy challenging content, nor have the time commitment to, I am afraid that players are scared away before even trying, even though it is such a big portion of content of ffxiv. Maybe after trying, a portion of these players (even if it's a minority) will discover how fun and exciting challenging content is, especially when information on mechanics are still not discovered yet.
With the introduction of normal and hard modes of alexander, I am afraid that even more players (especially new players) may be scared away from trying the hard modes, since normal modes also offers the same access to the storyline.
<part2>
Is there any incentive the development team has in mind to encourage players to attempt the harder parts of content, possibly guiding them in with tutorials (such as the DPS practice instance mentioned a long time ago), and maybe to bring the casual part of the community closer to the hardcore community?
Perhaps a system where the normal modes will only unlock when the turn(floor) has been cleared on the hard mode for that server(and maybe weekly)? (With a server wide announcement, so people who do not want to try the hard modes can also join in the excitement the hardcore players feel during progression) Or just a simple 2 week delayed release of the normal turns of alexander?
Hoping that the development team would consider this and sincerely hoping that more players would give hard content a serious attempt, so that they can experience the fun of progression.
Could the developers really do something about the housing limit.
This question has been raised so many times and the developers are purposely avoiding it. We had a very vague reply the last time it was answer.
Probably in future is not an answer many would like to know. It's been over a year now and still we don't see any light. The servers are not suppose to be shallow on item limits. Developers should expect the outcome when the idea about house placement was introduced into ff14. Seriously... 200 item limit for one mansion is crazy.
Players spent how many hours to acquire over 30mil gil to get his own mansion. The limit simply spat on the faces of players over their hardwork.
When will Summoner be fixed? 3.xx?
When will Summoner pets be redone to aesthetically and comparatively match their traditional Final Fantasy representions? I vote for summon pets liken to Final Fantasy XI in usage and proportions with their own FFXIV flair!
Please look forward to it YoshiP!
Will the main scenario for ARR need to be completed to take the new jobs?
Can you show us some the new class/job actions to come in Heavensward and/or go into detail about them?
