After the recent reveal of specializations but the lack of information surrounding it, a large factor that promoted the game was the armory system and the hard core end game battle system but also crafting and gathering systems that weren't catered towards casual play. Desynthesis introduced a more casual way of making gil, while i think this is fine for obtaining materials for crafting, this worries me about the future of specializations. Can you please tell us more about how specializations will work and whether we will be locked into a certain set of recipes or if we will be able to take full advantage of the armory system and remain omni crafters (all crafts on one character); i ask this because many players have already begun leveling multiple characters (alts) crafting classes to 50 in anticipation of being forced into a static role as a crafter, worried that they will lose the freedom to craft anything, anywhere, anytime.

P.S. Keep up the great work, love the ideas for gatherers from what i read! Just worried about crafting, it's my favorite thing to do in the game ^^ I always felt that it was just right.
