In the Heavensward will the Summoner be made more in the image of a Final Fantasy Summoner.
In WoW the Summoner is the Elementalist Shaman which has no abilities unless their Elemental is Summoned and based on which Elemental is out the Shaman has those Elemental Abilities while the Elemental has AoE Bursts Abilities.
