    What's a fair price?

I'm wanting to sell my house plot to someone to prepare for an upcoming server transfer.

What's a fair price to ask for relinquishing the land and trying to regain some of what I put into it? All things considered such as location/knowing they'll have to buy the plot from the city-state also, what do you guys think?

I see people selling their plots all the time but they never mention a price in their shouts or PF messages.

It really depends on how bad you want to get rid of it and how bad the opposing party wants it.
Also depends very heavily on how much gil the other person has.

Knowing that you're trying to transfer off of the server, I wouldn't offer you any more than 500k gil.. You wouldn't be able to take more than 1mil anyway :P
But I know that I'm willing to pay 2-3m for a small plot that's at a premium spot next to people I want to share the ward with..

If anyone tried to stiff me like that, I'd just keep the plot out of spite. I think I got my answer, though. Thanks!

Keep in mind also, that you cant actually sell the plot. You can only relinquish the land, and then they have to buy the land, on top of your price. so, build that price into your idea.

I also wouldn't pay more than 500k for a plot. I already have to pay a couple mil on top of that for the land in general.

Right.. I would too, but if you're transferring, I think it either gets relinquished automatically or you have to relinquish before you transfer, so that would be 500k less in your pocket and the other person can still build on top of your plot without having paid you the 500k. So the key is not to let other people know you're trying to transfer

and another thing is.. depending on if your server has empty plots or not, if you're looking to get 1-2m out of the plot.. The other party has to pay full price to repurchase the plot for 3-4m. Which adds up to just a million or two shy of buying a fully depreciated medium sized plot.. So unless Faerie has problems with plot availability, you'll have trouble selling it.
Best bet would be to see if anybody in an FC in that ward wants to buy the plot off of you, because that is one strong motivator to pay the premium (having your personal house next to your fc house)

it will be a good idea if the OP can tell his plot #, ward # & house size and city location. I ll assume it is a small house:

    in Excalibur:
    Goblet : 4-7kk
    Lavender: 4-8kk
    Mist: 4-8kk

    PS: kk = M
Tip: when buy a house, NEVER tell what you want to buy, that mean : NO ward info, NO house size, and NO city location. The more specific info the more it will cost you so DON'T do that, and let the guess game begin. But when sell the house, info is need but never put in price.
