Thread: Patch 2.55 New Info from JP Lodestone Dev Blog - Terra's Theme?!

they've actually had a Terra's Theme rendition for a long time. I guess they finally got around to securing the rights to actually use the thing (since apparently it was made by Soken without permission from Uematsu or something so they couldn't use it in the game)

Also I welcome the changes to chocobo racing. The only reason I didn't spend more time doing them was because, mathematically, you made more MGP for grinding pretty much ANY TT NPC than you did from winning a top-ranked choco race.
I did the math and you would have to get about 500 MGP for a victory in order to beat out or come close to the MGP pay out of playing one of the 110gp payout NPCs. And that's for VICTORY. You won't always win choco racing since it's technically PVP content.
And when you consider you can get a really good set of 60 cards without spending a single MGP beyond entry fees, while in order to become competitive at choco racing you HAVE to invest the stuff, it becomes even more disjointed.

They're finally adding it in? Its about damn time. Maggie is about to become my mount of choice. They used the version they are probably putting in when they revealed magitech mounts would be in the game.
