Going two tanks for Ifrit is smart since that fight tests healers the most then tank swapping. The DPS check isnt as bad in this fight because of over geared peeps. Most times DPS has to slow down so they don't push the enrage. So going in with 5 DPS may hurt your pt more. It can be solo tanked but it will put more stress on the healers.

Overgearing in iffi ex makes it more a healcheck than anything else nailexplosions and noone bothers to let the stacks wear off n kill the next with next stack and more aoe

T4 grind is the way ppl go funnily I say people that play normally their tank dont have the mout. I know a couple of tanks main in Final coils they are around 100 duties... so am I because the stuff didnt count backwards to the time it wasnt there as achieve (hates PvP for this advantage they got)

T4 is far from scary, especially with current ilvl available, its a lot of trash and even w/o reading a guide, it's pretty obvious what your role is in the fight.(4 soldiers, so grab 2, 2 magiteks, so each grab 1 etc.) Regards to the DF, you do not have to have beaten t1-3 to queue for anything t5 and below. Ifrit, I suggest 2 tanks and a swap at 3 stacks unless you really know the fight(when to use your CDs for breath/swipes) or you really trust your healers.

T4 so easy it's scary. Was i90 content originally and OP is i109. Plus you get Echo buff the moment you zone in. And all the mobs are trash essentially - very limited special abilities. Frontal cone on Dreadnaughts, HP debuff on Rooks (dodge by running behind them during Pox), nothing scary.

DF is fine. Or get a group for faster queue times.

I would consider t4 the easiest way to get this mount - even though I farmed Garuda EX for it. Since someone mentioned CT I'd like to remind everyone that CT/ST/WoD doesnt count towards the mount (and neither does T3 or Ultima, had to realise that after 3 runs).
While Id say you can just hop into df for coils (you may find them a lot easier and less scary after seeing them) I kinda would advice you to build a party for ex-primals to learn the fights a bit before trying them in df. Sounds funny but I was having less trouble with any coils than I had with ex-primals (even with newbies in both of those encounters). As a tank it will be less easier for you to df those fights when you know whats going on - dont be afraid of any of those fights though! They are all great fun!

So my advice would be: Try them! Just try all of them - and after that pick the one you like most and you feel most comfortable with! There is no general "best" way to farm this mount - ruda, ifrit, t4 might be the most easiest and fastet once (and I wouldnt really advice titan or ramuh in df...) but if you enjoy any of the other fights more thats the way to go. Just have a look at those fights - non of them have to be scary. Put up a learning party in pf, ask some friends/fc-mates for help...

If you really wanna go for "effeincy" only I'd say: Dont care about Ex-primals in df. You can get pretty decent groups but I ended up spending 40mins or more to carry random df-ppl through ruda... hardly ever happend to me in first coil...
