Tank mount grind

So I am wanting to grind my PLD tank mount and light at the same time cause well why not so I'm wondering what would be the fastest/easiest thing to grind?

I am Ilvl 109 and haven't touched any ex primal or coil but I'm a fairly good tank or so I'd like to think

They doubled the Light Bonuses, if you're fairly new, easily do your weekly CT runs, I think they're blinding, then just queue for Ifrit HM/Garuda HM; both 8 man content for your mount and they can be completed pretty quickly(2-5 minutes) for easy light, and pray to RNGesus that you hit the bonus windows. BCoB Turn 4 and Ifrit Ex will be the fastest to farm the mounts imo.

you mean the elevator before twin right? Do I need to beat 1-3 first? How hard is the coil in DF these days

Woggers is right then^^ T4 would be the primo, and Ifrit EX bc less phase changes(garuda ex has a lot) and titan ex is well, titan ex in DF

Yes t4 is the one before twin. If you get into a party that already has t4 unlocked, you can jump right in without doing t1-3. Once you have done t4 once, it should be unlocked for you through DF. And yes t4 is easily do able through the DF now.

Ifrit Ex can be DFed as well, but probably not as easy as t4.

So to unlock in DF I need to either A beat 1-3 first or B join a pre made that has someone who already has beat it then beat it got it

Though I might go Ifrit cause coil scares me to tank lol thanks though

A side question: I know ifrit used to require tank swaps does it still cause the guide didn't mention it and also same with Garuda and the debug on spiny plume where you used to tank swap to avoid 3 stacks and death but that isn't mentioned in guides? Where they nerfed?

Going two tanks for Ifrit is smart since that fight tests healers the most then tank swapping. The DPS check isnt as bad in this fight because of over geared peeps. Most times DPS has to slow down so they don't push the enrage. So going in with 5 DPS may hurt your pt more. It can be solo tanked but it will put more stress on the healers.
