We need ffxiv to help save ffxi

We really don't. FFXI has had a good, long run. Nearly 15 years. It's time to let it rest.

But many of us still love the game, and many things in the game. It's had a good run, and can still have more. That's what we are trying to do

the thing is the game has gone for 15 years, they should leave the servers on or let fans create there servers and drop the subscription so fans can continue playing it, but it is a old game it has to end sooner or later.

But many more of us don't like what SE did with XI in these later years and no longer wish to play it and prefer it to let it end in peace. I was one of the last of all my many friends to keep playing it especially after server closings, level cap removals, increased running speeds to make the world feel smaller, trivializing leveling, etc. I'm sorry, but the game just isn't what it used to be.

It's time to focus on new projects, like FFXIV for example.
