[dev1026] Please reconsider level sync "Then allowing power leveling"

Like Yoshida said, there is a r50 willing to spend his time killing crap mobs so a r5 friend levels up faster. There's nothing wrong with that.

Short version: If you don't want to power level others or be power leveled by others just don't do it.

But i be force because everyone else be doing it just like i said on the last post. Due to everyone getting max level in a short amount of time and if i do it my way i wont reach them in time to do anything with them and when i do it be to late they be doing other new event that i wont have gear for. Level sync make everyone party together and even allow max level help out there low level friend without getting them max within a few days.


At the end they should really still add level-sync so people can party even if there not in the same level range do you guys at least agree with this? so people don't have to switch to a low level class just to party with a friend. Me and my gf always have to level up new class together when i only want to level up 1.

This way i can still be on my rank 36 and she can be on her level 20 class.

First if you going to be rude and not give a good reason what you don't want it. Then please do us all a favor and do not post then. I was not being rude i'm trying and find a good way that it's casual but still not make everyone get max level within a few days of gameplay.

Go find Yoshida's post translation on the topic if you want to know why I don't agree with your OP. And I fail to see my rudeness, perhaps you are just sore that people don't share your 20-years-in-the-past vision.

I think level sync would be good to add in addition to the new claim system, level sync was one of those things added when i was playing FFXI that made me say hell yeah great idea.

i know people who have been playing the game since launch and are not rank 50. they have no desire to lvl cap. No one has forced them to do so. You shouldn't think that just because others are doing something you have to.

That the people that are not even sure they going to play this game when it goes p2p. If you in a linkshell with alot of friends and everyone is max level and doing powerlevel to get to the new cap let's say "70" you be doing what? you can't make a party everyone would ask for a powerlevel so it's soloing,leves or questing. See how it force you to do it? if you want to do something with others? due to everyone doing powerleveling?

i find powerleveing in this way a cheat sitting there on /follow while people kill for you and all you do is hit it one time is wrong.

I do not have a DoW job at 50 yet and lots of my friends are doing things that I want to do. They sholdn't be forced to level another job if they want to sync in a prty with me, then that should be an option.

If anyone doesn't want to level their job to 50 or the level cap, that's fine. Do whatever you want. It doesn't support any argument against having a level sync.

umm, im sorry i didnt know i had to spell it out. it means there goal is not to hit 50, they just wanna enjoy the game as they please. I would have written this the first time but i didnt think people would have such a hard time understanding it, my bad.

That sounds like a better argument for them to be able to powerlevel you.

They at high level are doing things you want to do, you are slow, so they power level you.

They need to (already are) add power level.

They don't need to add level sync because that would completely destroy any segments of leveling which are more challenging and result in everyone leveling to 50 on crabs at Tiger Island or something. No thanks, this game already has the ability for one player to level multiple classes which means people have not just one but many opportunities to level with each other.
