Do they get a notification about it now?
The reason i think SE ignores player pleas for RMT based complaints is that RMT problem are user created, We have RMT because people will not stop buying gill, due to being weak minded and incredibly lazy. it's hard to fix a problem the complainers them selves have created (if you buy gill)
I will sign this my self but i hardly think it will do anything, SE will continue to use an ineffective method of reducing their numbers and years later, however long this game survives we will still get annoying tells and weak people will still buy gill due to all the gill sinking content in this game. Not to mention while there are rmt on jp data centers (the farmers) they don't send tells so jps do not complain near as much.
But there is nothing wrong with hoping.
If you're talking about any names on your B-List that show up as "deleted" it's my understanding that this is not SE's doing but the account holder deleting the character themselves; likely to avoid detection.
Yes, deleted means enough people have blisted them so they deleted or moved the character, not from banning, in all honesty it shows they had more then enough time to do thier damage enough to need to delete it. you don't even know if a character is banned, you just have to clean out your blist often and hope that the one you removed was banned.
/signed Divine Intervention of Phoenix.
While Phoenix server isn't TOO bad for gilspammers at the moment, it's steadily increasing. The names aren't even hiding it anymore "***sel'lsgilhr" was one I blocked.
Does anyone remember the scrolling shout rmt spam when the game initially launched on Playstation 3? Let's not go back to that.
Oh, and please, give us a "right click, report RMT" option.
That would be a pretty shitty decision if that were the case. It leaves honest players to suffer, because of the choices of a few gil-buyers and RMT groups. SE has the power to make changes that will help ban these people who by all rights should be banned (they are breaking the rules of the game). The reason i think SE ignores player pleas for RMT based complaints is that RMT problem are user created, We have RMT because people will not stop buying gill, due to being weak minded and incredibly lazy. it's hard to fix a problem the complainers them selves have created (if you buy gill)
I've already made the decision to take my account off the reaccuring payment option, and I'll probably let the account run out. It frustrates me to no end to see parts of the market dominated by RMT, locations being farmed by bots, and chat logs incapacitated by ads. And to see the situation continue to worsen over my entire time here (despite a large number of people pleading for help), makes me lose all confidence in SE. I make an actual effort to make gil in the game, to see that SE only places minimal effort to punish those providing an easy way up belittles my efforts.

I feel like /signed doesn't advance the conversation much, but at this point, any noise to be made is necessary, in response to SE's deafening silence on the matter.
/signed.
Doesn't have to be much of a conversation, if anything this should turn into the anti-rmt version of the 'Fantasia or Riot' thread; just keep posting everyday until SE eventually responds.
And tbh not much else has to be said. Screenshots have been posted, rants have been exclaimed, suggestions have been made. We just need a damn response.

Additionally, I'm letting my subscription lapse for 24 hrs - specifically for this cause - to add a few cents to my signature.
