Even if they just release a complex new algorithm that takes the RMT crowd only a month or two to break, it will still be enough to at least save the expansion. It needs a permanent fix, and I dont think we are going to get one any time soon, but a temporary fix for the expansion, just long enough for the new players to get roped in, and all the reviewers to come in and not see it, will save the game.

if not, FFXIV is headed towards destruction. If they cant fix it, I see the game being defunct within 2 years.
