They aren't logging in and out, they're entering duty, farming something. Possibly entering a dungeon, teleporting to treasure chests containing gil or sellable items. They may also actually finish duties by teleporting in the air over a boss and hitting it while the boss cannot retaliate, I've seen bots doing that in a vid someone posted.
