this ^^^^^ same issue at least 3 friend requests this is not improving it getting worse!!!
I sure hope they at least implement some anti-RMT features the moment Heavensward comes out. If they keep it like this and willfully ignore it, then RIP Heavensward subs. Veteran players will stay, new players will run away as fast as they can.
i live in some what hope of some new features being introduced in 3.0 .. but with all my bitching and moaning along with so many others ( there i said it ) it remains doubtful they will do a damn thing!!!

Spam and request spam starting to increase on Phoenix again. Let's look at getting this sorted please.
You know, I'm willing to bet if the majority of the NA/EU customers were to suddenly CANCEL all at once with "RMT" as the reason for leaving, S-E would suddenly friggin' notice ( and remember, canceling still allows you to play until your times up and you can always renew later ).
If the internet can have an international "black out day", then I'm sure FFXIV players can organize an international "NO MORE RMT!" day for one game.Money talks, BS walks. You want S-E to listen, make their pocketbook give out a frightened squeal.
you know im willing to bet if the majority of the NA / EU stoped buying the damn gil in 1 place we wont have this issues ....but yeah SE needs to hire more GMS for the STFU.You know, I'm willing to bet if the majority of the NA/EU customers were to suddenly CANCEL all at once with "RMT" as the reason for leaving, S-E would suddenly friggin' notice ( and remember, canceling still allows you to play until your times up and you can always renew later ).

Not only would this fix it for XIV, if we could somehow get all MMO players to do it we'd pretty much fix the entire RMT industry. Unfortunatly I don't see that happening...would be so nice though.
Well, then. I guess the main question is: are there more people willing to take a stand as I described than there are those willing to buy gil?
considering that since less than 10% of the ffxiv populaton even reads the forums, the amount of people willing to tae a stand in this manner is insignificant to their bottom line.
100 players cancelling their subscription wont hurt square in the slightest. Unless you have a plan for tapping a larger subsection of players, without breaking this rule from the forum rules http://support.na.square-enix.com/ru...la=1&tag=forum:
Then i doubt it.Posting aimed to create a negative impact on the community or its members.
