RMT Advertisements

Please do something to curb the non-stop /tell and /shout advertising plaguing the game at the moment.

I realize the difficulty in dealing with such persistent pests must be a burden SE wishes they could ignore, but ignoring something that affects your entire playerbase and makes many customers unhappy is unwise.

Any form of more powerful filtering, blacklisting, and reporting given to the players would be genuinely appreciated.

I know it's a difficult problem that plagues every MMO, and they do respond by banning accounts, etc, but it's absolutely, embarrassingly, disgraceful when my entire chat log is literally filling up with nothing but RMT tells.

Wow that's ridiculous! Jeez I hate RMT! couldn't SE just add an option that prompts you discretely to accept or deny a /tell and remember your preferences with an additional setting to manually add or remove ppl from the list?

Idk how shouts would be handled though. Advanced filtering maybe?

Filtering the tells in that way is no different from the blacklist.
That video isn't the same 5 people sending me a tell, that is seriously 50-60 different accounts spamming messages. Blacklisting them is useless since they just delete and recreate a character.

There needs to be an accept tells from friends only option.
Also they really should change something about the sent friend requests issue. Probably limit it to one a minute or so to ideally curb that annoying "advertisement" technique.

It IS time for SE to do something... Something different than just "hey we banned X accounts"... I see more and more ppl being /busy, cutting themselves off their friends (i am /busy 90% of my online time, "playing solo right now" cause friends cant talk to me)

DO SOMETHING, PLEASE!
