Ruining game experience

I actually have a question, and I apologize if this is a dumb thing to ask. Is there anyway at all to talk to your party members while you're in a cutscene so that you can inform them it's your first time with the story quest dungeon? There's been multiple times where I've asked the people I'm playing with on Skype who are ahead of me to thank the tank in my stead for being patient, but it would be nice to know if I could do this myself if I'm stuck without those people on Duty Finder.

Yes, if you just press Enter while you're in cut scene, it'll open up your chat log and you can type during it.

Allow players to do them solo with NPC party members, or make cutscenes unskippable if there are first timers in the party but increase the bonus to compensate.

Back when I played SWTOR, you could 'skip' a cutscene and be stuck on the last photo until everyone was done with it, then it would continue and exit everyone at once. If everyone wanted to speed run, then everyone could skip it, but it allowed a new person to view it without harassment because it never told you who wasn't skipping, you could lie and no one would know.
