But you saying npcs should be selling these when every thing has separate values won't do anything
    No.

I am saying NPCs Should "Buy" these from us for the amounts stated.

    Sell to NPC.
    Not Buy from NPC.

This is the point I think you may seem to be overlooking, forget about the RMT spammers and bots for a minute, imagine if most people simply did this. Gil influx would be through the roof, sure you might get more on the market board but a lot of people would say screw it, easy quick cash. That much gill being introduced into the economy on top of the bots, would be an absolute nightmare, sure the prices would go up on everything, but that's because the buying power of gil would be low as its become worthless and there is so much of it in circulation, hence the need for gil sinks.

In a nut shell, you can't solve economy problems by simply printing money. Doesn't work in real life and doesn't work in game.

As I have said in past threads about this..

Square-Enix needs to block China from being able to make NA/EU/JP accounts since they have their own game and servers now.

They did this for FFXI back in the day when it was a problem as well and it did a lot better once they finally kicked them to the curb.

    .
    RMTers would just use VPNs.
They only seem to be a problem on NA servers.

Also the OP wants to nuke the economy because RMTers are nuking the economy...
    Um...
    Wow.
I'm actually speechless. This is such a scorched earth policy it's ludicrous.
SE will never set a limit on how much a specific item can be sold for on the MB. They'll set an overall cap (99,999,999 last i checked?) and minimum (1 gil) but the amount of work required for what you're asking for is absurd.
They'll also never up the amount a piece of materia (or any item, really) sells to merchants for. They want LESS gil in the game, not more. Completely devaluing your currency rather than actually addressing the problem (that of RMTers) is ludicrous.

You do realize a)the market is what makes RMT possible
    b) RMT has a devastatingly detrimental effect on player markets and overall game economy.

    Yes?

But to be honest, SE exerting control over a player ran economy will not thwart RMTs efforts in any way. They will just find a way around them as they always do.

    Let me explain.

Gil right now only gets introduced into the game via Dungeons (10k+4.5k bonus per 30 min). Leves (lv. 50 give ~1000 G per 5 min). NPC (ick ~4-200g per item NPC sold regular avg.)

The have Dungeon bots: Example- 4 bots running Brayflox(HM) will get 35,000g + Desynth items + minion chance every 15-25 min.

    That is:
    35,000g x 3 [20 min runs] = 105,000g per hour.
    2,520,000g Per DAY.
    17,640,000g Per WEEK.
    70,560,000g Per MONTH.
Not counting items made from desynth.

And you honestly think this NPC materia plan gonna over-inflate the market. lol

There's more than just 4 bots doing this. Try teams of 20. You do the math.

RMT's play the market to ruin prices just so people will buy their gil.

Then you limit the amount something can be sold for on the market board. Each item its own particular limit.

Thus completely destroying any hope of a free market and completely screwing the economy.

Supply and demand should rule all, it also gives those who play the market an added amount of fun within the game.
