    How to Monk in PvP?

Monk confuses the hell out of me in terms of PvP. Every single skill has a positional requirement. Do pro monks actually hit those positions all the time or do they not even bother? I know that I'm supposed to use Axe Kick and Perfect Balance to get my stacks up quickly, but after that I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong.

Depends on what PvP you're doing

Secure: Ahh positional for stunned enemies or enemies standing confused.....
    8v8v8: Same

Slaughter: Sprint , Sprint , Doge Com Meteor , Die , Respawn , Hit Node , Dodge Com Meteor , but wait damage still inflicted due to latency ....runs back to stairs of respective GC .....gets slept by BLM....OH NO HERE COMES THE FUCKING WHM NO NO NO NO NO.....SPAMS* Purify.....*FLUID AURA goes off......DED Get rekkit .....

In other words....in Slaughter.....Do you even range bro >

you can use fists of wind and hit your positonals.

basically as you're chasing a guy, when you need to flank you just hold forward and your right (or left) strafe button at same time. it will tilt your character a bit to the side enough you can get a flank hit in. but bear in mind if you try to chase someone while moving diagonally, if he's just running forward he will gradually move ahead of your pace.

so, you basically start behind, go diagonal to get the flank hit in, let go of the strafe so you can chase at straight angle (when you stop running diagonally your character will catch up since you have fists of wind if you're just pushing forward), then when your GCD is about to be up again if you need to flank then repeat.

by constantly moving diagonally for the short moments you need a flank and returning to "home base" by just pushing straight on your opponent's tail, you'll be able to hit all the flanks you need.

mnk is the toughest melee class to get right in WD so just keep practicing and see if you can consistently get all your positonals off in this manner.
